We have all been waiting like our lives depended on it for a dispensary to open, and this past weekend RISE Dispensaries in Bethesda finally opened!
On their grand opening date (Dec 2nd) we were greeted with donuts and pizza, amazing way to start the morning I must say!
The lines were long, but the smiles on everyone’s faces showed that the wait was well worth it. Upon entering the building, a security guard asked individuals if they had their state license and MMCC approval with them. A member of the RISE team also introduced herself to everyone and began explaining what types of medicines the dispensaries had.
The first thing you will say when you enter the dispensary, is WOW. Amazing aesthetics and customer service, proving that RISE came to the state to bring high standard to the industry. Forms of medicine included flowers, tinctures, oils, and much more.

People have been smoking joints for a long time. The first rolling papers surfaced around the early 1500s in Alcoy, Spain. These weren’t like the rolling papers we know today though. To start, these papers were intended for tobacco, not cannabis. They were made of hemp along with other textiles and lacked an adhesive gum…
Just in time for the holidays, the Jet Lag strain brings a smoking experience completely different than what the name suggests.
