Marijuana legalization is booming in the U.S. right now and many celebrities have taken advantage of this situation to start speaking up about their cannabis use. Some of them certainly have not been shy to\u00a0show their love for cannabis. Whether they are openly talking about it or using metaphors to do so, there are plenty of celebrities you would have never imagined that love weed.<\/p>\n

The 78-year-old actor Patrick Stewart admitted in 2017 that he smokes cannabis every day. Stewart announced his marijuana use in order to support a new initiative by Oxford University to research medical cannabis. Suffering from arthritis, Stewart said he uses marijuana to help to manage his pain. He expected that by announcing his cannabis use, that would delete any “prejudice, fear, and ignorance” related to the stigma.<\/p>\n

Snoop Dogg<\/a> may be one of the most outspoken celebrities cannabis is brought up. If you’ve been to one of his shows or at least heard of it, you know that he’s coming onto the stage lighting a joint. Snoop once said, “So what if I\u2019m smokin\u2019 weed onstage and doing what I gotta do? It\u2019s not me shooting nobody, stabbing nobody, killing nobody. It\u2019s a peaceful gesture and they have to respect that and appreciate that.”<\/p>\n
