Countless TV shows<\/a> and sitcoms have that one episode where somebody uses cannabis to get high, w<\/span>hether it’s Carrie Bradshaw being put in the back of the cop car or the episode where Ted and Marshall are “eating a sandwich” in How I Met Your Mother<\/em>. And then, of course, there’s the entirety of That ’70s Show<\/em>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Weed has always been a part of our television culture in one way or another, no matter what the show is, and those episodes always seem to be some of the most comical and beloved of an entire series run.<\/span><\/p>\n

Here are a few of our personal favorite and most loved television episodes that feature cannabis, so you can relive the laughable moments brought to you by weed.<\/span><\/p>\n

Sex and the City<\/em> Season 6, Episode 7: The One Where Carrie\u2019s Arrested For Smoking a Doobie<\/b><\/h2>\n

After what seemed like a total bust of a night at the bar for Samantha and Carrie, Samantha surprises Carrie with an unlikely win.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cIt’s not a total bust,\u201d Samantha tells Carrie before she pulls out the joint that she was able to score from the bartender.<\/span><\/p>\n

The two friends take turns puffing on their scored joint, happily complaining about men — until they are busted by the cops, mid-inhale, and Carrie is thrown in the back of a cop car.<\/span><\/p>\n

The cop threatens to take her down to the station, and her friends desperately plead to let her go. <\/span>\u201cShe was dumped by a post-it note!\u201d they told the cop.<\/span><\/p>\n

Scoffing, the cop doesn\u2019t believe their seemingly made-up story until Carrie slaps the Post-it on the cop car window. \u201cYou’ll understand my need to self-medicate after you read this breakup post-it,” Carrie told the cop.<\/span><\/p>\n

The cop laughs, agreeing with how brutal her break-up was before downgrading her pot smoking to mere smoking inside a bar offense.<\/span><\/p>\n

The girls wrap up their doobie smoking night by going out for ice cream.<\/span><\/p>\n

How I Met Your Mother<\/em> Season 7, Episode 10: The One Where They \u201cEat Sandwiches\u201d<\/b><\/h2>\n

In How I Met Your Mother<\/em>, Ted and Marshall \u201ceat sandwiches,\u201d which was actually just future Ted\u2019s euphemism for smoking marijuana in the show. The two friends decide to \u201ceat sandwiches\u201d before attending a concert one night in this episode.<\/span><\/p>\n

While high in the middle of the concert, Ted and Marshall decide to leave their seats and buy nachos for Lily.<\/span><\/p>\n

But as they wander aimlessly around the arena, circling it twice, they begin getting a little paranoid and frustrated with each other before splitting off. They begin hallucinating that a mysterious guitar player gives them nachos and guides them back together.<\/span><\/p>\n

However, they are upset about how long it took them to get the nachos and are sure they missed the entire concert.<\/span><\/p>\n

When Lily finds them, it\u2019s revealed that they were only gone a few minutes instead of hours like they originally perceived.<\/span><\/p>\n

Thanks to a security camera, it\u2019s also revealed that the guitarist was actually a life-size cardboard cutout, that Ted pulled the Nachos from the trash, and that they never left the same section of the arena.<\/span><\/p>\n
