Medical marijuana in Georgia<\/a> just turned 1 years old back in July, but not everybody is happy about it.<\/p>\n

Although some patients are able to qualify for cannabis oil, the laws in Georgia have remained strict, causing some patients and even parents to take matters into their own hands.<\/p>\n

Parents of children who have serious ailments that can be alleviated using cannabis have created underground platforms to communicate with each other and find out more information about the plant. Of course, getting the medicine shipped to your residents is illegal. However, parents and patients have felt it\u2019s necessary since the State has refused to make any changes to the program.<\/p>\n

As of now, the number of patients in the program is still under 1000. However, residents are hoping the state can make the requirements a bit more lenient so more patients are able to join.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
