Schedule an appointment to see a medical marijuana doctor in DE through Veriheal at a time that is most convenient for you. Provide basic medical history and book your appointment with a licensed medical marijuana doctor. Please provide medical records if you have them and the doctor(s) can approve any qualifying condition.
You'll consult with a doctor for 10-15 minutes to evaluate your ailments, and ask any questions you may have about your medical marijuana treatment. Once your consultation begins, you will go over your condition and get approved. After you are approved, the doctor will register you with the state of Delaware. You will then be able to pay your $50 patient fee to the state.
Every patient will need to prove Delaware residency for their application to be accepted by the state of DE.
Once you are approved, you'll register with the state and submit an application. The state will process your application and notify you of your approval and mail your card. Once you have your card in hand, you can begin purchasing from dispensaries.
In Delaware, patients will need to re-certify their license annually by seeing a licensed physician again. Veriheal will get in touch with you when your certification is approaching its expiration to help you setup a renewal consultation.
Seemed like a formality really since I have pretty extensive records for my condition. Happy everything was processed efficiently for me
Veriheal makes it easy. I was hoping the process would simple but after looking at the state resources it seemed like quite the task. Thankful to get help during the process.

Finally got around to making an appt to get my card and I am so happy that I did! Do yourself a favor and use Veriheal if you're in Delaware. They make it much easier.

In order to participate in the Delaware Medical Marijuana Program, you must be a Delaware resident and have a qualifying medical condition. Patients diagnosed with any of the following conditions are eligible to participate:
Patients can also qualify for a chronic or debilitating disease or medical condition or its treatment that produces one or more of the following:
If you’ve determined that you meet the criteria for the program, the next step is to complete and submit a patient application to Delaware Health and Social Services. The application form is available online here, but please note that all applications must be submitted by mail. The main sections of the application are as follows:
Patient Information: This includes basic contact and demographic information for the patient, along with an attestation that you agree to follow the rules of the program.
Physician Certification: This section must be completed by your physician. It confirms that they are licensed to practice medicine in Delaware and that they’ve fully evaluated your medical condition.
Patient Release Request: This authorizes Delaware Health and Social Services to contact your doctor for the purposes of verifying the information provided in your application.
Proof of Residency: You must include a legible copy of your Delaware Driver’s License or State-issued ID card.
Application Fee: A required processing fee of $50 is payable by check or money order.
Once your patient application is fully prepared, please carefully review to ensure that all information is accurate and complete before submitting it. Any errors or omissions could result in your application being denied and will delay the process of obtaining your medical marijuana card. If your application is approved, your card will be issued to you by mail.
