This week in cannabis news, TV will see its first-ever cannabis reality show. Israel is getting its first medical marijuana center. The University of Pittsburgh will start a cannabis research program.

Cannabis entrepreneur Big Mike of Advanced Nutrients is releasing the first-ever cannabis business competition show called The Next Marijuana Millionaire
A group of entrepreneurs will compete for a $1million prize and a chance to partner n with Big Mike.
Viewers will be able to tune in on major streaming networks and devices.
The Discovery Channel will also release its show “Growing Belushi” with celebrity Jim Belushi that follows along his journey in growing his own cannabis business.
It’s set to premiere not long after The Next Marijuana Millionaire on August 19th.
The center will house a medical cannabis consultation project called ‘Tree of Knowledge’, a pharmacy and clubhouse
The center primarily helps patients suffering from a variety of conditions navigate getting their medical cannabis license.
Patients will be able to fill their cannabis prescriptions, network with other patients, and learn more in-depth about medical cannabis.
The school struck a 10 year deal with cannabis company Parallel and received a $3million grant to research medical cannabis treatment for sickle cell disorders, chronic pain, and anxiety.
This is the first-ever state program that pairs academic research with a company that is both a grower and dispensary.
With their powers combined, we hopefully will be able to see winning results.
