What’s better than a NFL football game then a stoned football game? Think about your favorite Thanksgiving sides and entrees infused with cannabis. Anything from ganja gravy to smoked pumpkin pie or my personal favorite: cannabutter mashed potatoes. Those and many other holiday recipes are provided in numerous cookbooks and blogs around the internet.
The Official HIGH TIMES Cannabis Cookbook is in particular a wonderful cookbook to have on-hand during the holiday season. It’s perfect for Thanksgiving, Friendsgiving, or if you don’t celebrate the holiday—a Sunday. It will infuse any dinner with stoney good vibes and is recommended to be accompanied by a hypnotic playlist and dim lighting. It should also be accompanied by family and friends full of genuine gratitude and a large appetite. The classic cannabis hemp stuffing and the great ganja pumpkin pie are all beautiful dishes featured in this cookbook, but at the top of the list should be the THC turkey.
This grilled Thanksgiving turkey recipe from Chef Ashley Boudreaux includes 1 12-lb turkey, ¾ oz. ganja, 12 tablespoons butter, and ½ bottle injectable marinade. Soaking hickory chips in wine to add flavor is highly recommended while injecting bud-laced butter to your bird is a must. Be sure to inject the marinade throughout your bird in equal amounts, making the outside to be darker and the meat to be pinker. This recipe is also good for chicken…maybe CBD chicken?
