Willie Nelson Pushes ‘Legalization’ in Super Bowl Ad
by Gary Miller
This year’s Super Bowl halftime show promises to be one of the biggest yet. The show will include a generation-spanning line-up of Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Mary J. Blige, Dr. Dre, and Kendrick Lamar. While the star-studded line-up alone should entice many to watch, something else is drawing in cannabis connoisseurs and bettors alike.
In a first for the already wacky world of halftime show bets, individuals will be able to put money on whether they believe Snoop Dogg will smoke during his performance or not. While Snoop Dogg’s status as an ambassador of cannabis culture may make this seem like an easy win, bettors should beware. The NFL has a well-earned reputation of being the “No Fun League,” meaning it has gone to great lengths to maintain its squeaky clean image.
At its current odds, a successful $100 “yes” bet would earn an individual $200. Additionally, the bet doesn’t specify that cannabis needs to be the substance smoked for it to be considered a win.
What do you think of the bet? Which outcome would you put your money on? Let us know in the comments!
