It’s officially “Toke Tuesday” in most of the world and Veriheal is excited to share the CannaBUZZ about our new emerging state – New Jersey!
Home of the longest boardwalk in the world, NJ is also on the verge of passing one of the most monumental recreational cannabis bills east of the Mississippi!
America’s favorite uncle, Senator Nicholas Scutari (D- LD22 and Deputy Majority Leader), is sponsoring a bill that will offer NJ residents access to more than 80 cannabis dispensaries that can include “lit lounges” for customers to safely consume their pot post-purchase! Imagine living in a state with over 80 “pot-parks” to puff your pakalolo in peace! (Try saying that 10xs fast!)
As if this information wasn’t dope enough, Uncle Nick seasons this zenith of a bill with special privileges for “social impact zones,” aiming to give preference to canna-businesses with owners and investors who reside in economically depressed regions and NJ communities that have been impacted by a disproportionate number of marijuana-related arrests. When I tell you Uncle Nick is DEFINITELY invited to the cookout, I mean that he can bring the potato salad and fry the chicken, too!
Veriheal is excited to be at the cusp of this historical advancement in bipartisan support for access to cannabis for all. While we are all waiting on the edges of our seats for NJ state legislature to make Mamma-Jane proud, Veriheal is gearing up with passionate, licensed NJ physicians who believe that all individuals should have the right to unhindered access to cannabis. What’s even more exciting, we are going live in T minus 24hrs.
